The Madryn Castle Summer Party

A Celebration of Music, Food and Community...
Pritchard Leisure five-star experiences

Despite the recent rainfall and cloudy skies, golden rays of summer sun have shown themselves, brightening up our lush green landscape here at Madryn Castle, instilling a sense of excitement during these warmer months.

A gentle & welcoming buzz has filled our enchanting parkland, as our holiday home owners return to their summer retreats to embrace this exhilarating time of year.

On Saturday August 12th, Madryn Castle held its exclusive invite-only Mid-Summer Party event.

It was an unforgettable day & night of live music & entertainment, with something for all ages and interests. A joyous celebration of the much anticipated summer season here on the Llŷn Peninsula in North Wales.

Our Summer Party is always a wonderful opportunity to engage with our cherished holiday home owners and their friends and family, for a day of merriment and camaraderie.

The festivities kicked off around 4pm with welcome bubbles and soulful tunes being spun by local DJ Vic Ktori (Vic’s Boogie-Nights). Our younger holidaymakers were entertained with face painting and activities, assisted by local artist Gaëlle Diremszian

As the crowds gathered and sun began to set, a mouth-watering hog roast was fired up by Y Dyn Cig and served alongside hearty salads.

The casual & thankfully weather-permitting Al Fresco dining experience was s a great opportunity for fellow holiday home owners & guests to foster connections among themselves.

Our Founding Owner, Caroline Gallimore delivered a brief welcome speech, as well as presenting a special Long Service Award to Colin Munnery, who has been an integral part of our maintenance team for 30 years – an incredible achievement by such a humble and dedicated man!

With the pleasantries over it was time to dance, and the Greg Robley Combo, accompanied by talented local vocalists Selina Lloyd and Gary Taff, worked their magic to bring a wave of energy to the dancefloor.

As the band settled for a break, we began announcing our charity raffle, which aims to showcase some of the wonderful products and services offered by some of our favourite local businesses here on the Llyn Peninsula, who we’d like to thank for their generous contributions: Abersoch Golf Club, Becws Islyn Bakery, Cwrw Llŷn Brewery, Discover Llŷn Ebike/SUP Tours & Hire, Lavender House Boutique Homewares, and Sebon Glascoed Artisan Soap.

As the lucky winners collected their prizes, DJ Vic Ktori reignited the dancefloor whilst freshly baked Chocolate Brownies and Lemon Drizzle Cake from local bakery Becws Islyn were served to the guests.

We managed to raise an amazing total of £500 from the raffle, which is being donated to the incredible Aberglaslyn Mountain Rescue Team, who perform the admirable task of saving lives out on our nearby mountains.

The entertainment continued until late and the night was a huge success, for which we would like to thank all of our team who helped put it together, as well as all our holiday home owners for their energy and support.

We now look forward to the rest of this year, which will no doubt be as memorable and exciting. And if you’re considering joining us here at Madryn Castle as a holiday home owner, we look forward to getting to know you at one of our exclusive owners’ events.

Testimonials

Our holiday led to us buying a home here. Stayed at Pritchard Lodge.
Had nice weather, great chalet, great site. We bought our own while we were here. It is that good!

Our Paradise.
We bought a caravan with a plan of a couple of years, 20+ we are still here! As we drive into the park all stresses of life lift and we are in a tranquil paradise. We could not imagine life without our holiday home and all our wonderful memories with family and friends. All thanks to a professional friendly team who provide the warmest of welcomes and make our time spent here precious.

Sharon and Steve

Surrounded by dark starry skies and tranquil natural beauty. With perfectly maintained individual plots and a friendly team. Madryn Castle really is our happy place.

Sara and Pete

Our holiday home at Madryn Castle is our ‘perfect escape’, as soon as we arrive, we know we will relax and unwind in the peaceful, beautiful surroundings. We enjoy exploring the local area and have easy access to beaches and amenities to either side of the Peninsula. Our plot is unique, developed individually and private. Staff are friendly, helpful and professional. We just love being here making happy memories with family and friends, some of whom have also bought on the holiday park following their stay with us!
