Directions from Pwllheli
Part of the appeal of our park is its secluded location, deep in the Llŷn countryside.
To reach us, you’ll first need to travel to the seaside town of Pwllheli.
From there, travel along the A497 from Pwllheli towards Nefyn. Approximately 2 miles west of Pwllheli, you will enter the small village of Efailnewydd. At Efailnewydd, you will need to take a left turn for the B4415. Continue along this road until you reach the village of Rhyd-y-Clafdy. Continue through Rhyd-y-Clafdy for a further 1 mile until you reach a junction with an unclassified road (look out for the slate signpost for Madryn Castle). Take a right turn at this junction, then travel along this unclassified road for a further 2 miles until you reach Madryn Castle, on your left.
Alternatively, if travelling from Abersoch
Leaving Abersoch along the A499, take the left turn between Crust Pizzeria and Abersoch Land and Sea and follow the Lon Garmon road along towards Mynytho.
After approximately 2 miles, turn left at the junction and travel west along the B4413 towards Nanhoron. After approximately one mile turn right onto the B4415 and follow it for a further 3 miles until you reach a junction with an unclassified road (look out for a red postbox and the slate signpost for Madryn Castle).
Take a sharp left turn at this junction, then travel along this unclassified road for a further 2 miles until you reach Madryn Castle, on your left.
